Destination Avon: Dominican Republic

As many of you know I earned an all inclusive trip for 2 to Dominican Republic through Avon. I first earned it before the incentive deadline as well as being a top online seller in 2020. Because of this we were able to enjoy this amazing trip VIP style. Due to my oldest graduating high school this past June, I decided to take him with me as a graduation present. I also wanted to take him along with me because we have been through a lot in his first 18 years and he has witnessed me going from a scared little girl full of doubt, low self esteem, unresolved trauma to a strong, independent, confident woman. His childhood was watching his mother grow up along with him. I wanted to share this amazing experience with him so he can see first hand how far we both have come.

We had an amazing trip & got to enjoy not only the beautiful Dominican Republic but also it’s people. We both were honored to get to know them & their culture, witnessing their pride & way of life. We learned that they are self sufficient, 80% of their diet is from their own country, who value family & community. Because of this, they were able to survive & get through the world pandemic, in spite of many rely on tourism for their income. Each person we came across was friendly, welcoming, humble & appreciative, on the resort & off the resort. I know my son will agree with me, the Dominican people are definitely what is the most incredible aspect of this beautiful country.

I just want to close this post by stating how appreciative my son & I are for this amazing experience. We had an amazing time and made some incredible memories together, something we have not been able to do for a very long time. I have to say I really enjoyed watching my oldest with pride in the young man he has become & see him soak in every moment with appreciation & joy. I know this is an experience he will forever remember and I would not have been able to offer this to him if it was not for my amazing customers & supporters. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
