Being an Avon Mom: My YouTube Channel
Since the end of 2018, I have had it in my mind that I wanted to start a YouTube channel. My blog, Journey of an Avon Mom, was growing & I was so happy to hear from so many readers how helpful my blog was. I knew I would be able to help even more with a YouTube channel with tutorials & sharing even more of myself & what I love.
Sadly, God had different plans for me in 2019 with Stage III Hodgkin’s Lymphoma & going through a divorce which was not easy for myself or my boys. After taking some time for my family to heal & to get into our new normal, I felt that that the time was right for me to pursue my dream of creating my YouTube channel.
On May 21, 2020, I officially posted my first YouTube video where I introduced myself & let viewers know what they could expect from my channel. I had a few bumps in the road & had a lot to learn with taping videos & then editing and the biggest lesson was learning how much more work having a YouTube channel is. But for me, it is all worth it. I am having so much fun with this new project & new avenue to release my creativity. I love even more so all the positive feedback I have been getting back, especially in regards to my first series…. Tuesday Trainings. Every Tuesday, I post a video where other Avon representatives, especially my team The Super Sellers, are able to enjoy my tips, ideas & tutorials on how to start, grow & manage a successful Avon business.
What’s next? Well I am currently working on a few projects where I am going to be able to share my love & passion for makeup & skincare. Until they are complete, viewers will be able to continue to enjoy Tuesday Training videos, makeup tutorials, hauls & other fun videos.
