Breast cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women (skin cancer is the other). In 2016, it is estimated that in the U.S. over 246,000 new cases with invasive breast cancer & 61,000 of non invasive cases will be diagnosed (www.breastcancer.org).

Since then, Avon Foundation has raised over $1 billion for Avon Foundation for Women Breast Cancer Crusade & Speak Out Against Domestic Violence. In 2015, Avon Foundation for Women Breast Cancer Crusade had donated over $800 million to programs for Breast Cancer all over the world. These programs are found all over the world & strive to improve the lives of women & their families who have been affected by Breast Cancer.

Avon 39: The Walk to End Breast Cancer

Avon 39 the Walk to End Breast Cancer began in 2003 & has raised over $590 million with over 220, 000 participants. Each year, in 7 cities across the U.S., participants will enjoy a 39.3 mile walk over a course of a weekend.

The money that is raised at each walk will be donated to organizations not only nationally but locally as well. These organizations include breast cancer research, ability to improve access to screening, diagnosing & treatment and educating people about breast cancer.
