Summer Makeup Routine: Sweat Proof Tutorial
Over the last few weeks, temperatures & humidity have skyrocketed where I am in Massachusetts. I would take the time to apply makeup in the morning & look amazing but then by lunch time, it would somehow melted off my face. My eyeshadow would be non-existant. I would have the dreaded raccoon eyes from my mascara & eye liner. My foundation would be patchy & somehow my blush & bronzer would have moved… yes moved!
That’s when I decided I was going to figure out how I can make my makeup last all day in spite of humidity, sweat and whatever else summer wanted to throw at me. After a few days of trial & error and doing some research I came up with this look…
When it comes to creating a sweat proof makeup routine, the products you use are going to be just as important, if not more, then how you apply them. I’m not sitting here saying that you need to go & spend big bucks on name brand make up for a sweat proof look. It’s more of the type of products… things like waterproof mascara and long wear foundation and choosing the best setting spray for your skin type.
