Using Your FREE Gift

No matter what gift you decide to get, you can utilize it to help you create a solid foundation for a successful business. Personally, I have worked with representatives who have created a successful business with each one of these gift sets. Your success is based on YOUR determination, YOUR hard work & how YOU decide to use your available tools, support & materials.

Using the Full Size Products

Usually in the first few campaigns, the main focus of new representatives main is selling Avon products. Though it is not required, having full size products available on hand can be a great tool to help you grow your sales and enjoy on the spot earnings. Here are a few ways you can utilize the full size products in your sign up gift:

• Use the Products Yourself: If you have never used Avon products before or are not very familiar with them, using the products from your sign up gift is one way to start getting familiar with some of Avon’s best sellers. Then, when customers ask you what your favorite products are, you will be able to let them know what they are and why. Another way you can take advantage of using the Avon products is you can share on your favorite social media on how to use the product, do a product review or simply post a picture of you using the product.
• Sell Full Size Products: If you are looking for a way to earn money right away, selling the full size products you receive in your sign up gift is the way to go. You can just place the products in a small basket that you can carry with you when you make deliveries, display it at your workplace (as long as it isn’t against the office rules) or let customers know you have in stock products available on your social media. Another great idea, especially with the holiday season coming up is creating a gift set(s) with your sign up gift. Watch top Avon representative, Milagros Garcia, as she shares her tips on how she uses baskets all year round to grow her business.

• Raffle Off a Product or Product Bundle: Offering a raffle is a great way to grow your business. We all know everyone loves to receive FREE items and they will especially love to receive ANY of the products available in your sign up gift. Depending on what you would like to accomplish, you can offer a raffle to:
  • Grow your customer base by offering an entry for each person who registers at your online store or provides you their contact info (Click Here for “Survey Cards” I use to collect people’s contact info)
  • Grow your campaign sales by offering an entry for each person who places a qualifying order.
  • Grow your customer base & campaign sales by offering a Refer a Friend raffle for each customer who refers a new customer that places a qualifying order and give an entry to both people.

TIP: Make sure to add each person you speak to about your business to your Address Book on AvonNow. 

Using Samples

Samples are an amazing & inexpensive business tool that can help you grow your sales. I personally am loving the *NEW* regimen samples, like the ones you receive in the Skincare Business Builder.  They offer customer’s a way to try out the whole set at once and fall in love with all the products. My customer’s absolutely love them!

Here are some ideas on what you can do with samples:

• Hand Out: Give customers who haven’t tried or used Avon products before & have them fall in love by the time your first order is due. In doing this, you are opening the door to having a customer place an order every 3-4 months to replace their Anew skincare products.
• Create Samplers: This is a great idea if you are looking for an ice breaker. Being a shy person, I loved using samplers to start the conversation about my business and it took the “guilt” feeling I felt asking for their contact information to follow up. All you have to do is place a sample or two in a little treat bag with a simple flyer that has all of your contact information & online store link. As I said, everyone loves F-R-E-E, even if it is just samples.
• Use the Samples Yourself: Just like I explained above with you personally using the full size products, trying out Avon products personally is the best way for you to learn more about them. What better way to try an Avon product than with a sample! Think about it, when you find a beauty product that you absolutely love, you get excited & want to share it with the whole world. That excitement is what will bring even more customers to you & they are more likely to purchase the item because they see how much you love it.

TIP: Find creative ways to share samples in your Avon business. Do a Google search, browse Pinterest, or even network with other representatives & direct sellers for new ideas & ways you can use samples in your Avon business.

Using Avon Brochure (Printed & Online)

The Avon brochure is by far the most important tool you will have at your disposal for your business. Think of this as your go-to store where customers will go to shop. Now you can download the current Avon brochure, making it easier to share parts or the whole brochure.

TIP: When you place your first order, make sure you order enough brochures for the next campaign to hand out to not only the people you all ready spoke to whether or not they placed an order with you yet, but also for any new customers you will come into contact with over next few weeks. 

Here are some ideas on what to do with your LABELED Avon brochure that you receive in your FREE gift:

• Pass Them Out to Those You Know: Hand them out to your “warm market”- people you know personally. These are your friends, your family, neighbors- anyone you have contact with on a regular basis.
• Ask Family & Friends for Referrals: This is a great way to start growing your customer base as you start off. Most family & friends will want to help you as you start your Avon business. I personally did a Refer-a-Friend promotional offer in my 2nd campaign & 3rd campaign by offering a 10% off discount a future order for each referral who placed an order. I am so happy I did do this because it helped me gain a solid customer base & be able to meet the *NEW* representative incentive at the time.
• Have 2-3 Brochures with You: You never know when you may come across a *NEW* customer so it is very important to always have at least 2-3 brochures on you or are easily accessible.

TIP: Make sure to get each person’s contact information you personally hand a brochure to, whether is by phone, email or even Facebook Messenger, so you can follow up with them 2-3 days before your next order goes in.
