What is Avon Kickstart Program?

The Avon Kickstart program is an incentive for new representatives in their first 7 campaigns (14 weeks). It is built to help new representatives to grow their business at a steady pace so at the end they will have a solid foundation with their customer base as well as in Avon Advanced Leadership.

How Avon Kickstart Program Works?

There are 3 components to the Avon Kickstart incentive- Sales Component, Recruiting Component & Kickstart Performance Bonus.  Each component has goals to meet in order to receive it’s individual bonus earnings.

Sales Component

The sales component with Avon Kickstart is created to help a new representative to steadily grow their customer base & campaigns sales so by the 7th campaign, he/she will be on the road to reaching President’s Club by their 7th campaign.

Recruiting Component

The recruiting component is all about sharing the opportunity so by the 7th campaign, the new representative will have the minimum requirements established to start receiving Avon Advanced Leadership checks at the Bronze Ambassador Level.

Kickstart Performance Bonus

The Kickstart Performance Bonus is a motivational bonus & a way to reward the new representative that completes the sales & recruiting component as recommended.

How to Complete Kickstart Sales Component

With the Kickstart program, each time a new representative meets their sales goal, he/she will receive 40% earnings on ALL SALES. When I say ALL SALES that includes brochure orders, online orders & fixed items.

How to Qualify for 40% Earnings

With your 1st campaign, you will automatically receive 40% earnings on any total order size.

For your 2nd-7th campaigns:

As you can see, each campaign you want to grow your business by $50 in sales. By adding 2-3 more customers placing $20-$25 orders each campaign, this is very a manageable number that is very plausible as you are starting your business.

TIP: Not every customer will order each campaign. Honestly, most customers won’t order every campaign. So getting into the routine of gaining new customers each campaign when you are a new representative will end up making it easier for you in the long run.

Determining Order Total

In order to determine if you have met your sales goal, it is important to know how your order total is determined. Avon determines your order total by adding youravon.com submitted orders (a.k.a. brochure orders), online sales & Avon Sales Center purchases. The totals used do not include the taxes or any fees like Shipping & Handling. Basically they total up all your orders you have for any given campaign- It’s that simple!

What You Earn if You Do Not Meet Kickstart Sales Goal

If for some reason you do not meet your campaign sales goal, you will still earn money based on your order total. However, earnings will be based on the regular earnings chart:

Keep in mind, if you do meet a sales goal for any given campaign, you are still able to earn the 40% earnings in the next campaign as long as you meet your sales goal. This is not a all or nothing incentive. The only thing missing a sales goal will effect regarding the Kickstart incentive is the performance bonus. See below for more details.

How to Start Growing Your Customer Base

Avon is a well known name so when you mention Avon to someone, he/she will know the brand (Personally, I have not come across ANYONE who did not know what Avon was in the last almost 2 years of being a representative.) So, once you start letting people know you are an Avon representative, you will get customers. For your first campaign, it is recommended to start with your warm market. Your warm market contains people you know personally- family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc.

The “hard part” comes after letting your warm market know. The goal each campaign is informing as many people as you can. Don’t worry, though, you will be provided with tools, guidance & training to help you with that:

• Starter Kit: The first tools you will receive once you are an Avon representative is your chosen starter kit. When you join, you will have the choice of 3 starting at $25. Each Kit contains full size products, brochures, samples & other business tools. • Avon Brochures: The most important tool you have at your disposal is the Avon brochures. This is your store. Ensuring you have these available to give to people is the most important thing you need to do. To learn how to use Avon brochures, check out Avon Selling Tips: Selling Avon with Brochures. You can learn how to order brochures once you have used the provided ones in your starter kit by checking out Avon Training: How to Purchase Brochures. 

• FREE E-Store: As an Avon representative, you are able to create your very own e-Store for customers to shop online. This helps representatives be able to build their businesses outside of their local area. As a new representative, this can be very helpful if you have friends & family who either live out of the local area or prefer to shop online. • FREE Email Center & Social Media Center: On your personal Avon account, you will have access to a FREE Email Center & Social Media Center to help you share your business online. They are updated on a regular basis with new images & topics. What makes this an amazing tool is when someone clicks on your email or post image, they will be automatically directed to your e-Store. • Sales Tools: On your personal Avon account, you will have access to sales tools to help you better provide for your customers. Each campaign, you will have access to a tips video on how you can use the highlighted products to grow your sales & gain new customers. You will also have access to printable product information so you can recommend the best product to meet your customer’s needs.

• FREE Online Training: Another benefit as an Avon representative is access to FREE Online training with Avon U found on your personal Avon account. There you will have access to personalized training that will help you learn how to start & grow your Avon business.
• Training & Guidance from Your Upline & Other Representatives: What makes being an Avon representative so amazing is the support & guidance you get from other representatives, starting with me as your mentor, when you join our Avon team. I will be your go to person when you have questions or concerns. As your mentor you will be provided with support, guidance & training so you learn how to create & build a successful Avon business. With the use of Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest & the internet, you will also have access to other training materials & videos from other top Avon representatives across the country.

You may be in business for yourself, but you are not in it by yourself.

President’s Recognition Club

The main goal for the sales component in the Kickstart incentive is to help new representatives build a solid customer base so they can earn at the President’s Club sales level. Now I’m sure you’re wondering:

“What is President’s Club?”

The President’s Recognition Club (PRC) is a way Avon recognizes & rewards representatives who sells $10,000+ in Award Sales with in a given sales year (by Campaign 26). The first sales level in the PRC is called President’s Club. A representative will reach this sales level once he/she has accumulated $10,000 in Award Sales between Campaign 1 & Campaign 26.

Once he/she has reached the President’s Club sales level, he/she will receive the rest of that selling year & all of the following year:

• 40% earnings on jewelry & beauty products
• 25% earnings on fixed earning items.
• Ability to purchase up to 3 products at demo price in Avon’s representative demo book.
• Invitation to Avon’s President Recognition Program annual event
• Ability to order Avon brochures 2 campaigns early for a small fee.
• Exclusive gift & pin presented at the President Recognition annual event.’
• 400 points in order to redeem Mrs. Albee Award from the Rewards Headquarter or you can use the points toward other items.

The higher you go up in the PRC the more rewards & benefits you will receive. For example, those who are Presidents Council & above earn a FREE ANNUAL TRIP! How to Complete Kickstart Recruiting Component

When a new representative shares the Avon opportunity with others & has recruits join under their name, he/she has the opportunity to earn a $50 recruiting bonus for each one that joins. There is no cap on how many $50 recruiting bonuses a new representative can earn so this is a great opportunity for him/her to earn A LOT of money!

How to Qualify for Kickstart Recruiting Bonus

In order to receive the $50 recruiting bonus, he/she needs to meet 2 qualifications:

1. The recruit must join within the first 7 campaigns of the new representative. (After the 7th campaign, the recruiting bonus is $20 each) 
2. The new representative must place a $150 by their 2nd campaign on time & pay for it on time.

FYI: If a Kickstart representative does not recruit within their first 7 campaigns, he/she will not lose out on the sales component of the Kickstart incentive. They are separate bonuses within the same incentive.

How to Start Growing Your Team

One thing you need to keep in mind as you are growing your team is that there are a variety of reasons why someone would want to join Avon. The way that Avon has set up their direct selling business, the Avon opportunity will meet the variety of reasons you will come across as a recruiter.

TIP: As a recruiter, it is up to you to learn what is each person’s why so you can let them know how the Avon opportunity can help them. So, when you are talking to people about your business & the Avon opportunity make sure to listen to what they are saying. Recruiting is about them, not you.

Just like with growing your sales, you are provided tools, guidance & training to help you grow your team:

• Starter Kit: In each starter kit, there are 10 recruiting booklets. You can use these booklets to share the opportunity with those you talk to. To learn how you can use your starter kit to its full potential, check out Avon Selling Tips: 2018 Starter Kit Tips for New Representatives. 
• Avon Brochures: You can use your brochures as a tool in recruiting new representatives for your team by placing a recruiting flyer or even placing a label on each brochure. With you have these always on hand to give to people, you can use these not only to gain new customers, but new recruits as well. • FREE E-Store: On your e-Store website, there is a link for customers, leads & recruits can use to join Avon. I provide this link anytime I speak to any lead online. This will help ensure that your new recruit will be added to your team without having to put your reference code. This minimizes any confusion.

• FREE Social Media Center: On your personal Avon account, you will have access to a Social Media Center where you will find recruiting posts you can use to share on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or Google+. Just like when you share the sales posts from the Social Media Center, when someone clicks on the image they will automatically be linked to your website to join your team. • FREE Online Training: In Avon U on your personal Avon account, you will receive FREE online training on growing & training your team.

• Leadership Tools: Through your personal Avon account, you will have access to leadership tools like VIBE & ALMA to help you manage your leads & team to be the best leader possible. You will also find other tools you can use like calendars, fliers & more. How a Recruit Joins Your Avon Team

When you have someone interested in joining Avon under your name, there are 2 options you can use:

• Go to www.startavon.com & use your personal reference code
  • Your reference code is the ending of your e-Store website.
    • EX. my e-Store website is www.youravon.com/jantunes. My reference code is jantunes.
• Go to your e-Store & click:
  • “Sell Avon” on the home screen of your e-Store
  • “Become an Avon Representative” on the top left corner throughout your e-Store website.

TIP: When providing a link online or via text, I recommend using the link from your e-Store. When the lead clicks on the link & joins Avon, he/she will automatically be added to your Avon team. This will minimize any confusion or mistakes.

Avon Advanced Leadership Program

The Avon Advanced Leadership Program is a way for an Avon representative to earn more income on top of their sales, especially with the help of the new enhanced earnings as of Campaign 4’2017.

A successful representative in leadership:

• Builds their business & leads their team by practicing the 4 main activities of a leader:
  • Prospecting
  • Appointing
  • Training
  • Developing
• Maintaining their personal sales each campaign to be eligible for their Sales Leader title.
• Invest wisely to ensure they & their team have enough materials to successfully run their business
• Show their team how to be a successful Avon representative in sales & leadership.

Under the Avon Advanced Leadership Program, the leader has an opportunity to earn more through bonuses, leadership checks & leadership incentives. For example, regardless of what level you are in leadership, you have the opportunity to earn a 3% Sponsoring Bonus each time a downline representative who has joined your team as of Campaign 4’2017 places an order & you have a minimum $50 order in same campaign.

How to Qualify for Kickstart Performance Bonus

In order to receive the $200 bonus at the end of the Kickstart incentive, a new representative must meet 2 qualifications:

1. Met all 7 campaign sales goals
2. Recruit at least 3 qualified Kickstart recruits
